The most important word for me since I started school again is “free.” But more specifically, “free food.”

I’m not working, and I have a gazillion loans out, so when I hear the word “free”, I’m there. It seems like most of my friends are of the same mind set. Most of the people in my class worked before going back to school, and many of us are finding it hard to move from having our own disposable income to having none. Top ramen is suddenly our best friend.

Fortunately, my school seems to be aware that free food draws the masses and so they hold a lot of functions where they provide lunch or dinner during the event. For example, this week I’ve had three free lunches (small group lunch with my civ pro professor, tax law panel discussion, and meet Judge Marshall lunch) and a free breakfast (this morning).

I can’t complain =) It’s always nice not to have to worry about paying for food.

Anyway, hope everyone’s been having a good week so far! It’s almost over! yay!!!
