One of my favorite memories last semester was driving home after all my classes were over with the windows down in my car… the sun shining down on me… the cool wind in my face. The best part of my way home is going up this hill where the scenery is just so pretty. It always reminds me of a certain little hobbit village. After winter hit, things started to get gloomier and I didn’t really enjoy my drives home as much.

Yesterday, I started the ritual again, and it felt great. I could feel my spirits lifting and suddenly things were wonderful. I guess this is why I’ll always be such an LA girl =) Gotta be where the weather is nice and sunny throughout the year. But, I’m sure I wouldn’t mind seeing snow sometimes… just not for extended periods of time.
