Turn Me On

Our other song of the summer is this Kevin Little song called Turn Me On. I had never heard of it before, but they play it in the clubs like crazy… and it’s really fun to dance too :)
So, after our all nighter at Muse, we stumbled our way home at 7 in the morning. I was dead tired, but I slept all of two hours before getting up, showering and fixing myself something to eat because I was intent on doing some shopping that day. I still needed to get so many souvenirs.
I went to the 100 yen shop over in Harajuku… also one of my first times to really be in that area. It was fun. Lots and LOTS of people. And surprisingly cheap clothing, too! I had all but given up on finding cheap shopping here. I did some light window shopping, before I finally ran into the 100 Yen shop, which was crammed like crazy. I bought some fun makeup and a few things for my friends at home… I am far from done though.
I then went home to shower and pack my stuff for a sleepover at Sakura’s house. We were going to Atami on Sunday for its summer festival and fireworks.
We ate dinner at Sakura’s house that night… homemade curry. mmmm :) and we made vodka tonics. We then headed off to Heartland, yet another bar in Roppongi.

Heartland isn’t my favorite bar in the world… I think it’s pretty boring actually cause there’s no dance floor or anything =P and it’s filled with foreign guys hitting up the Japanese girls. You don’t have to ask me twice about how I feel about that.
We stayed there for a while, but finally left after an hour. It was a good thing, too because there were all these old guys trying to hit us up. Gross.
Samara took us to this Brazilian club nearby. She’s been talking about it sooo much these past few weeks, so I was excited to finally be going. When we got in, I fell in love. It had a completely different feel compared to other clubs we’ve been to in Roppongi. It was all about the dancing and really great music! It has such a good vibe. We definitely had a lot of fun.

If you’re wondering where everyone else is… they’re somewhere not as fun. I know I haven’t talked about the drama lately, and it’s only cause I had it out with that person… Gretchen. I was as straightforward as I could be. I told her that she was really inconsiderate and self-involved. Harsh words, but she needed to hear it. Everyone in the program was being dragged down by her. I know that she really didn’t take it seriously because of what just happened this past Saturday and well, because she denied every single incident I talked about. Whatever.
Anyway, she planned this so called last get together on Saturday. The four of us boycotted, and others wanted to as well, but we couldn’t get out the info for Sakura’s get together in time. Not having a cell phone really sucks. It’s so hard to get a hold of people.
I found out what happened Saturday night on Monday night at our internship meeting. Apparently, she was being the same, typical Gretchen times ten. She had several breakdowns during the night, yelling at particular people and then everyone as a group for not catering to her needs. Everyone had a miserable time. I hate to say it, but I’m SO glad I wasn’t there. From what I heard, I would have blown up at her… it was just unbearable.
Actually, I still feel like yelling at her, or at least writing a really evil email. I’m still thinking about it. =)
So ends the second installment of the weekend… the third installment to come later :)
