Tokyo, Revisted

Something else I wanted to do this break is post up my remaining Tokyo pictures.

Below are pictures I took during my last official commute to work. Just looking at these pictures makes me yearn to be back in Tokyo again. ::sigh::

my apartment

the monzen-nakacho station

I had a long walk to the station - a grand total of 7-8 blocks. In any normal situation, 7-8 blocks wouldn’t be so bad, distance-wise. But in the middle of Tokyo’s intense heat and humidity, it felt like forever.

I took the Oedo line (number 6) to the Roppongi Station

the roppongi station

I took a total of 6 long escalator rides to reach the top of the station. Bennie always said that the Oedo line was a ride through the center of the earth hehe =)

my secret entrance into Roppongi Hills

The above passageway would lead me to the middle of the Metro Hat (below). Then I’d take yet another escalator ride to reach the Roppongi Hills office entrance.

I have no idea why they had that spider there. It was really creepy!

The Roppongi Hills killer doors.

the TMI office entrance - I loved that office =) it was beautiful
