The Adjustment Period

Something’s wrong with Blogger. Blogger cannot connect to the server so I am posting this old school style - all html, baby!

Well, It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be going back to normal life, although it does still feel very strange not to have to get up and know that I had a full day of studying ahead of me. It’s a nice kind of weird though. I’m currently trying to decide on what fall classes I’m going to take. It’s funny… I’ll be going from all this law stuff to pure Science/Math geekdom.

On my list this fall: Calculus, Physics, Physics Lab, Biology, Biology Lab

That makes 12 units already, but I’m thinking of adding a fun class or two like… tennis? Salsa dancing? Cooking? Something fun.

I’ve started reading novels again. Christine’s really got me on this reading kick. I love it. She’s lent me a few books so far. The most recent is one by Meg Cabot, Boy Meets Girl. Total chic-lit. Totally loved it. Anyone have recommendations for good reads?

I’ve started making a To-Do list for this fall. So far, I’ve got…

1. work off the bar fat =( starting back from square one, basically. gonna restart the fitness blog again

2. find a part-time job while I finish my CS degree - waitressing? retail? tutoring?

3. figure out what how to get out of the bastard Fullerton program

Going through all this stuff (law school, studying for the bar, etc) has really made me yearn for a much simpler life. Would I really be unhappy being a waitress? Or operating a campsite full of palampas down in Baja? Teaching kindergarten? I guess I’m just so tired of all these complications and jumping through hoops to do something I’m not even sure about anymore.

Why can’t life be simpler?
